Proposed Bylaws

On November 14 the Chamber's Board of Directors approved revised bylaws for the Chamber.  The most significant changes to the Bylaws include title changes for Chamber leadership moving from President and Vice President to Chair and Vice Chair.  The revised bylaws also create a new office, Chair-Elect, to assure seemless leadership; they also allow for the appointment of multiple Vice Chairs as needed. The revised bylaws set term limits for board members to encourage leadership recruitment and development.

Members will be asked to approve the revised bylaws at a special meeting which will be held in on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the Honey Molasses Cafe.
